The Face Behind JWT Supercars

You probably all wondered.. who is running that YouTube channel? Who is making all these videos? Will he, she or they ever show his/her/their face? All those questions have now come to an end! It's time to reveal the faces behind JWT Supercars, a channel that has been broadcasting supercars for over 5 years on YouTube and several other social media platforms.

Let's start by introducing ourselves. Yes ourselves, we run JWT Supercars together. We are brothers actually, and both have been passionate about cars since we saw a Lotus Elise during holidays with our parents back in 2006 (Photo 1). From then on our passion and love for (super)cars has grown bigger and bigger. Jeroen, the youngest one (on the photo right), just turned 11 back then. Wietse is almost 2 years older. We had no idea that we would ever become so much into (super)cars, but look at us now: over 30.000 subscribers and 20 million views on YouTube! Numbers that we can be very proud of!

So we are Jeroen and Wietse and run JWT Supercars together. We both have our own individual primary 'task' within JWT Supercars, but there's also a lot that we do together. It actually takes quite some time to run the channel, but since we love what we're doing, that time is more than worth it. Now let's shortly intoduce both of us individually.

Let's start with the youngest, Jeroen (photo 2). Jeroen turned 21 around 3 weeks ago and is currently still a university student. Within JWT Supercars his main task is to manage the channel. That includes for example: posting videos on YouTube and other social media, discussing possible partnerships with exhaust companies and finding out what kind of supercar events are coming up. He still remembers the moment that JWT Supercars (named JEWETHE back then) got approved as a 'partner' of YouTube. That was the moment he realised that their channel could actually become pretty popular, and from that moment the channel kept growing. Now it's time for us to show our faces, he thinks, in order to keep moving forward and to keep gaining popularity.

Then Wietse, the oldest of the two (Photo 3). Wietse is currently 22, soon turning 23 years old, and has already a part time job in the housing business. His main role within JWT Supercars is camera man and producer. He edits the majority of the videos, which takes a lot of his spare time, but since he loves what he's doing that is not a big issue. Next to editing, he is also the one with the video camera in his hand most of the time. Lately we have been filming with two different cameras, so Jeroen is helping him when it comes to recording the supercar action at events, but Wietse has been doing it since 2009.

So we both have our own roles within JWT Supercars but sometimes we help each other out whenever one of us is in shortage of time. We do this in order to be able to upload videos onto YouTube on a regular basis (at least 2 new videos a week, most of the time 3).

To finish off this article about ourselves, we would like to thank you for taking the time to get to know us a little bit better. We would also like to thank you for your (continuing) support, we truly appreciate it. For now, stay tuned to the channel because there's a lot coming up!
